A last minute trip to Augusta so Jon, my husband could be a part of the Masters Golf Tournament 2010. I'm not one who is THIS spontaneous, I like to plan things out and have somewhat of a schedule, esepcially whn it comes to traveling with two young children. Nonetheless, I let go of my anxiety and what if's, packed us up for the three hour drive and one night stay for the kiddos. For our kids, staying overnight at hotels is right up there in the top five fun things to do. So, after 45 minutes of packing, tying up loose ends, and a half tank of gas, we were off!
Jon, was able to sit up front and see all the big names in golf tee off, including Tiger (not that I am a fan nor am I judging him). No cameras or phones were aloud on the course so all he has is the memory and a ball marker to show for it. While he sat for hours getting sunburned on the course, the kids and I had a great time hanging back at the hotel, enjoying the one another's company, and soaking in the sun's warmth by the pool. Though Keilana doesn't show as much enthusiasm in this picture, her comment at breakfast that next morning says it all, "I love this 29 months, that's how much I love it!". I find pure joy in her innocence with time.
