Baby Julia

The short time we were in Utah, we managed to sneak in a couple of opportunities for photo shoots of my neice. I don't know what was up with the weather in Utah, but it rained and rained, the wind blew and temps dropped. NOT conduscive in trying to get pictures of an infant in between the napping and feeding schedule...AT ALL. We did the best we could on a few attempts and managed to capture these along with a few others. First up was her blessing pictures. She did SO good the first portion considering we cut her meal time short and I guess the hunger pains were becoming unbearable. Not to mention, the wind was picking up, and we were feeling the beginings of rain. Needless to say, she was done with Auntie moving her around and interrupting her meal/nap time. I tried to do indoors using windows but it too late in the day and super cloudy outside. A couple of days later we attempted outfit #2. Again, Utah could not have been any less cooperative with a heavy, cold wind rushing through the air. Should I have been happy that it was at least not raining? Not really, because what good is a beautiful, sunny day when there is a chilly breeze brushing against an infants soft, sensitive skin? I wish I had more time to try for a do-over but all good things must come to an end.
